Since I was a small boy, this is one of the restaurants in Binondo that my father would take us or would order take out. Their food is still tastes good even the establishment is already old. And I always come back here whenever possible when we are in the area.
I live in the US for almost 15 yrs I came bk in my homeland Manila, Philippines for a brief vacation last week Oct 3 2015, this place is on my top list, the place is still the same I shld give 5 stars but I think they shld renovate the place specially the furnitures, but the food is still excellent, (chami, fried chicken, beef bittermelon) I remember my dad bring us to this place since I was a kid, I will come bk again.
Ever want to have some delicious Chinese food? Well, judging by the name, I think we just found it :) Delicious Restaurant is one of the oldest ones in Binondo serving authentic Chinese food in affordable prices. I love going there because it feels like coming home, with its very welcoming staff, the smell of newly-cooked wanton soup filling the air, and of course, the knowledge that your tummy will soon be happy! Delicious Restaurant, like many typical Chinese places, has a small cramped space in the ground floor and a larger, air-conditioned room in the second floor. They serve a lot of great Chinese foods such as Maki, Yang Chow rice, beef with broccoli, and many others! I cannot name specific items that I would suggest you try because everything's just awesome!
Aside from Mañosa, this is another one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. Mind you, this place is not for the faint of heart. It's old, it's grimy, and there are always old, Chinese dudes in ratty wifebeaters drinking Tsingtao beer and playing checkers. But go beyond the book's cover and oh my god you'll experience what might be the best Chinese food this side of the South China Sea -- oops, sorry, West Philippine Sea. EVERYTHING on the menu is good. I know, because I've been going to this place since I was a kid and I have literally tried them all.
